Following a veterinary referral, every animal receives a full assessment lasting up to one hour. Assessment includes

A full history of the current problem and relevant past history

Assessment of posture and gait and ability to move between positions (For working dogs with subtle problems this may include watching them perform their usual working activity)

Examination of joint range of movement, muscle bulk and quality and areas of pain/spasm or discomfort.

At the end of the assessment I will discuss the clinical findings and the plan of treatment with you, and outline the number of treatment sessions that will be required as appropriate for your animal.
